U2 a offert le cadeau tant attendu à 80 000 personnes venues les voir hier soir à l'Estadio Nacional de Santiago, en interprétant Mothers Of The Disappeared, jouée par Bono et The Edge qui avait, pour l'occasion, troqué sa guitare contre un instrument traditionnel chilien appelé charango, celui qui a été offert à Bono par l'ancien président chilien pendant la journée!

La dernière fois qu'elle avait été jouée c'était le 11 février 1998 à... Santiago!

Bono a porté un toast au "nouveau Chili" en ouvrant une bouteille de Champagne à la fin du concert.

La chaîne chilienne nationale TVN a diffusé quelques passages du début du concert, en direct.
